Solar SYSTEM Engineer
Hanergy America seeks an experienced solar systems engineer, with knowledge of residential, commercial, and utility scale solar systems design and an emphasis on supporting thin-film module applicability. This role will provide engineering and technical support and services with many facets of deploying Hanergy’s line of many PV products.
Responsibilities:

Assist clients and partners with providing various technical guidance and application engineering and system compatibility support. Review and/or create site layouts, single line diagrams, production modeling (PVSYST) along with other various duties.

Working with and reviewing/validating various BOS suppliers on solutions for value engineering and system compatibility with Hanergy’s line of PV products.

Assist clients and partners with training and educating on installation and best practice methods.

Providing feedback to sales and management regarding new features, changing industry standards, market trends, etc.

Attend project sites to monitor or train construction crew on proper install methods and best practices.
Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in engineering (preferably EE)

At least 3 years of solar system design experience

Knowledge of NEC (mainly 690), AutoCAD, PVSYST, UL 1703, IEC 61646, UL1741)

Onsite PV project field installation and testing experience

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook

Ability to travel up to 25%
